Author Video Presentation Instructions

Presentation Submission Deadline: August 20, 2021

Overview

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DASC has chosen a hybrid format to ensure all authors have the opportunity to participate. All authors, whether attending DASC in-person or virtually, are required to submit a pre-recorded presentation.

We request all authors prepare and upload a video of your presentation, comprised of a brief introduction with webcam, if desired, followed by voice over slides for your presentation. Submission of a pre-recorded video is a requirement for your paper to remain in IEEE Xplore. Please note that the file must be a video file in MP4 format (more details below). Please do not try to upload PowerPoint or PDF files.

Oral Lectures

All oral lecture sessions will be hybrid, consisting of both in-person and virtual presenters. Laptops in each session will allow in-person presenters to present to virtual attendees via Zoom while simultaneously presenting to the attendees in the physical room. In-person presenters will present their presentation live using PowerPoint slides. Virtual presenters will present their presentation during the live session via Zoom with the choice of playing their pre-recorded video or sharing their screen with their PowerPoint slides and presenting live.

Posters

There will be one live poster session for in-person poster presenters. Virtual posters will be fully on-demand. All poster presenters, whether attending in-person or virtually, are required to submit a pre-recorded video presentation.
